Heat Soak Test Furnace
The Heat Soak Test is done to reduce the risk of spontaneous breakages due to Nickel Sulphide inclusions.
The Heat Soak Test is a thermal cycle which contains a heating phase to 290 ºC, a holding phase of 2 hours at 290 ºC and a cooling phase to ambient temperature. The total cycle time is approx. 8 – 10 hours.
